WR565 Quick Start

Install the SIM and antennas and check your first cellular connection. Based on WR565 User Manual v1.5.

Prepare the router

Install the antennas clockwise until appropriately tight. Use the eject pin to open the SIM tray. Insert the SIM with its chip facing down and its notch aligned with the tray.

Open the web interface

Connect your computer to a LAN port and open 192.168.1.1 in a browser. Follow the WR565 manual for the initial login and configuration.

Check the connection

Open Status → Overview. Check the firmware version, SIM state, cellular data connection, IP address and APN.

Check the indicators

Power LED on indicates that the router is powered on. A System LED flashing once per second indicates normal operation. In WR565 User Manual v1.5, an off Cellular LED indicates no SIM or an invalid PIN.

These steps refer to WR565 User Manual v1.5. Use the manual matching your model and firmware.
